Ports of Los Angeles & Long Beach Container Excess Dwell Fee - UPDATE
Dear Valued ONE Customers,
As a follow up to our previous Customer Advisories regarding the Ports of Los Angeles and Long
Beach. The Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach announced today a further
postponement of the “Container Excess Dwell Fee”. After meetings today with U.S. Port Envoy John
Porcari, ocean liner companies and marine terminal operators, the two ports said the fee will not be
considered prior to December 6th, 2021.
As a follow up to our previous Customer Advisories regarding the Ports of Los Angeles and Long
Beach. The Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach announced today a further

Temporary Suspension of South China Feeder Service
Due to the COVID-19 quarantine requirements for the crews of the coastal feeders
running between South China and Hong Kong waters, feeder operators announced
their services will be suspended for a minimum of 6 weeks prior to Lunar New Year
2022, which is Feb. 1 -5, 2022. In consideration of this situation, ONE will temporarily
suspend the acceptance of the cargo bound for the ports in the South China area that
require usage of the domestic feeders to reach the final destination. Any cargo to
South China that can be serviced by an ocean vessel is not affected.

Ports of Los Angeles & Long Beach Emergency Surcharge
As a follow up to our Customer Advisory issued on October 29th, 2021. The Ports of Los Angeles
and Long Beach under the direction of the Biden-Harris Supply Chain Disruptions Task Force have
implemented a “Container Excess Dwell Fee”. This surcharge went into effect November 1st, 2021
and excess dwell penalties will begin November 15th, 2021.
