The Philippines Bureau of Customs recently issued a Customs Memorandum Order 48-2019 and we highlight the changes as follows with effective date retrospect as of 16th October 2019.

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (”K” LINE), Mitsui O.S.K Lines, Ltd. (MOL), and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) have begun sharing of operational data acquired from the monitoring system installed in their container ships with their charter, Ocean Network Express Pte. Ltd. (ONE), through the IoS-Open Platform (IoS-OP) promoted by Ship Data Center Ltd. (ShipDC).

In continuation to the earlier announced changes to East Coast services, ONE would like to update
the capacity changes to Pacific South West (PSW) services without any changes to the current
service rotation.

In order to ensure we can deliver a more stable and reliable product throughout the winter months,
Ocean Network Express would like to update you regarding forthcoming changes to our Transpacific
product network.

Ocean Network Express (ONE) and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) conducted a joint crisis management drill based on a simulated scenario of a fire and explosion on ONE’s chartered vessel on 10 October 2019. This is ONE’s second joint crisis management drill held for this year.
